Types of Liquid Tight Flexible Conduits Available

Sealtite® Metallic Conduit, UL Listed
Underwriters Laboratories (UL) is one of the most widely-known testing laboratories in the world. UL listed means that the product has been tested and certified to the appropriate UL standard. UL 360 is the specific UL standard concerning liquid-tight flexible metal conduits.
Our UL listed Sealtite® Liquid Tight Flexible Conduits are made of an interlocked hot-dipped zinc galvanized steel core for enhanced durability and corrosion resistance. This conduit is used for wiring circuits in damp applications, such as:

Sealtite® Metallic Conduit, Unlisted
Unlisted Sealtite® metallic conduits are flexible, liquid-tight metal core conduits also made with a continuously interconnected hot-dipped zinc galvanized steel core that offers exceptional durability and rust resistance. It has a rubber or PVC jacket that resists heat and chemical breakdown. Unlisted conduits are not certified by Underwriters Laboratories (UL), but they provide important protection for environments like transportation vehicles, where weight is a primary concern.
Sealtite® Non-Metallic Conduit
Our Sealtite® non-metallic conduits are made of either PVC or PVC with nylon fiber braids.
Type NMUA is made of a flame-retardant, sunlight-resistant PVC material that repels chemicals, oil, and heat. It has smooth inner and outer walls. Type NMEF is a continuous PVC coil embedded in flexible PVC for a smooth inner wall. Type CNP has a smooth PVC core covered with nylon braids to form an oil-resistant cover. These non-conductive conduits are flexible, crush-resistant, and easy to install.
Specialty conduits have a galvanized steel core covered with an antibacterial thermoplastic PVC jacket. The jackets are durable, sunlight-resistant, flame-retardant, zero-halogen, and low-smoke. They can be easily cleaned and many are suitable for food-grade applications. Some are NSF certified to NSF/ANSI 169 standards for use in special food-handling equipment.
